Dongdaemun Stadium Memorial Museum is constructed as a space for people who remember Dongdaemun Stadium to reflect on their life as they see exhibitions related to the stadium and surrounding areas.
Dongdaemun Stadium was constructed under the name of Gyeongseong Stadium by Japan in 1925 and had been with citizens for 82 years until its demolition in 2007.
Dongdaemun Stadium Memorial Museum is exhibiting photos of various sports contests and events held at the stadium, as well as artifacts related to the stadium and videos for visitors to recollect on the past.
